Driver Accident Prevention System Using Face Detection and Drowsiness Monitoring
Road accidents often occur when drivers feel sleepy or lose attention while driving. This project presents a simple driver accident prevention system using face detection and drowsiness monitoring. A camera continuously watches the driver’s face and checks eye movements. If the driver’s eyes remain closed for a long time, the system understands that the driver is feeling sleepy. Vehicle slow down and then alarm is then activated to alert the driver. This helps the driver to wake up and drive safely. The system uses basic artificial intelligence and computer vision techniques to improve road safety. The project shows how simple technology can be used to save lives and reduce accidents caused by drowsiness.

The Trash Warrior Machine That Helps Garbage Cleaners
The trash warrior machine helps garbage cleaners segregate wet and dry waste and lift heavy garbage cans. Garbage cleaners are very important as they clean garbage for us, but it is very difficult for them as they have to tolerate the bad smell, getting dirty and lifting the heavy garbage can. Many other people used technology to solve this problem, so I designed this idea to help our garbage cleaners. For segregation, the trash warrior machine will have thermal camera to check whether it’s dry or wet. For example, if it is wet, the color sensor will look for a green bin to put it in. It also has a forklift to lift the garbage can. It also will have a robotic arm to pick, drop, and hold any waste. So, they could really be helpful for our garbage cleaners.

Development of a Sensor-Activated Smart Inflatable Life Vest for Drowning Prevention
This project is about keeping people safe from drowning. Many people in India die because of drowning, especially those who do not know how to swim. To help prevent these accidents, I created a project called Prevention From Drowning (P.F.D.). The project is designed as a lightweight and comfortable safety vest that can be worn inside a shirt without causing discomfort. The vest contains waterproof sensors and an inflatable balloon system. If a person falls into deep water, the sensors detect water and pressure. When the pressure becomes dangerous, the balloon automatically inflates and helps the person float on the surface, reducing the risk of drowning. This safety vest can be useful for children, adults, fishermen, and anyone who cannot swim. It can also be submitted to the government and distributed to people across the country to improve public safety and save lives. The idea was inspired by Yun Zhang’s project on Google Scholar.
